In 2007, I bought a sewing machine to make baby bedding for the little girl I was expecting (after three boys). I couldn’t quite find what I wanted in stores, so I figured if I made it myself, I could have what I wanted for my baby.
I have always been a creative person and a maker – from my dollhouse when I was a little girl to cross stitch, crochet, photography, and scrapbooking as a teen and then an adult. Plus, having watched my mother sew when I was a kid, sewing seemed like a natural progression in my hobby journey.
Sewing has become more than a hobby, though, it is a way to show my style, my personality, and my creativity. It is a passion that I love to share. Through this blog, I want to share not just what I have made, but how I make it.
