Teaching

I am proud to be an instructor at Cary Quilting Company. (Click for my current offerings.)

I am very excited about my quilt coat classes. The session starting 2/22 is sold out, but I have a second offering on 3/15 which still has some room. This is such a fun & trendy project!

I have taught several bag classes including ones on Noodlehead’s Divided Basket, Crescent Tote, and 241 Tote, as well as ByAnnie’s Take a Stand and Zip It Up . I’ve also taught a general bag-making class where students brought the bag project of their choice.

As a quilter, I taught a class on Elizabeth Hartman’s Cats in Pajamas quilt where students made a block (to either start their quilt of use for a pillow). I have given a class on raw edge applique featuring a really cute Halloween pattern by Trouble & Boo called Kandy Korn Kitty.

Finally, I do a Saturday Night Sewing session once a month. You can bring whatever project you like and if there is something you need help with, I’ll help you. I’m also including a short (approx. 15 minutes) mini-demo lesson. Dates and topics are below:
